A Greeting
Message from President Naoyoshi Yubazaki
MYCOM was founded in November
of 1968 by its current president, Naoyoshi Yubazaki, who, during his
student days, succeeded as president of a subcontracting factory for
Tateishi Electronic Company, Ltd., currently now Omron Corporation.
It was during that period that the company progressed forward and
opened up worldwide R&D technology and manufacturing plants. In
November of 2008, MYCOM will celebrate its 40th anniversary.
MYCOM’s role and creativity as
a “Producing Company” enables us to turn our eyes to the world and
develop our business overseas in countries with different cultures.
Our current product group consists of Stepping Motors and its
Controller System, as well as advanced Mechatronic Systems. These
products are highly innovative and indispensable for today’s
critical semiconductor manufacturing machines and precision
machines.
In such products, MYCOM’s
original technology is based on the improvement of changing the 10
leads of a Stepping Motor wiring into 5 leads and reducing, by half,
large portions of the control circuitry, as well as greatly
improving the accuracy performance of the Motor. This is one aspect
of our Stepper Motor Control Technology. We have also currently
developed the NanoDrive™, which produces equal control of a Stepper
Motor: 500 million Divisions per one Revolution. This new technology
is now currently being used on a global level, by both domestic and
oversea customers. We are confident that MYCOM’s original
technology, along with our new NanoDrive™ series, will soon be a
popular Motion Control tool for worldwide engineers.
In such situations, MYCOM’s
“Base Point of Manufacturing” remains in Kyoto, Japan, because we
feel we can improve our technology here. Our company philosophy is
compliant with its culture and academic circumstances, and because
of this, we can obtain a vast trust form the worldwide market from
this Base Point.
MYCOM believes that technology
is creation. Creation is the form of making shape from invisible
things. The Base Point of Manufacturing attempts “Formless Idea” and
builds it to “Creation to Shape”. (MYCOM calls the series of
building Idea to Creation “Kuusou”).
MYCOM sees “Creation” in terms
of viewing the science field from a technological perspective, in
such that the situation of science and technology are combined. For
example, “See invisible thing” and “Move unmovable thing”. With
this, we attempt to proceed with science venturing with unknown
technology.
MYCOM names such science having
unknown technology “Venture Science & Technology”. (MYCOM’s also
coins the word “VEST” as an abbreviation). VEST means jaqueta in
Portuguese. MYCOM tries to be jaqeueta for the worldwide technology
and by doing our BEST, changing the “V” into a “B”.
October 2006.

Yubazaki
