PPC2410 & PPC2310 Series


Characteristics

        The PPC2410 and PPC2310 are high performance 4-Axis and 3-Axis Motion Controller Cards (respectively) for ISA-Bus (PC/AT Expansion Bus) systems. In both systems, commands are sent directly from the ISA-Bus to the Pulse Generator chips, MPG2031’s, in order to generate Pulse Trains to control Stepping motors or Digital Input Servo motors. Each Axis of Motion has Encoder Feedback (A/B/Z phases) inputs and Six Driver Control Inputs & Outputs. This Controller can be used for Point to Point control or Linear Interpolation of the general purpose motion systems. S-curve, Trapezoidal as well as complex movement profiles can be generated with this Controller in order to provide smooth machine operations.

  • Opto-isolated Forward Limit, Reverse Limit, Near Home and Home position inputs are provided for each Motion Axis. Active high or low Sensor Logic can be selected.
  • Operating Systems: MS-DOS Version 6.2 or higher , MS Windows Version 95 or higher, MS Visual C++ Version 4.0 or higher.
