SNC240/SNC440 Motion Controllers



Characteristics

The SNC-240 (2 Axis) and the SNC-440 (4 Axis) Controllers are used for Point to Point control and Linear Interpolation of the general purpose motion systems. S-curve, Trapezoidal as well as complex movement profiles can be generated with these Controllers in order to provide smooth machine operations for Stepping motors and Digital Input Servo motors systems.

  • Step & Direction Opto-isolated signals, CW & CCW Clocks as well as Phase Differential Motor Driver signals are provided.
  • Encoder Feedback Opto-isolated TTL or Phase Differential A & B and Z (Index) phase inputs are provided. Encoder Counters can be scaled to 1 , 2 or 4 times the input count.
  • Opto-isolated Forward Limit, Reverse Limits, Near Home and Home position inputs are provided for each Motion Axis. Active high or low Sensor Logic can be selected.
  • 32 Opto-isolated Inputs and 16 Outputs are provided for general purpose system requirements.
  • Three Modes for Home Position searching is provided.
  • G-Code programming language. 16 Programs and 84 Sub-Programs available with up to 2,000 Program lines and 2,000 Stored Position Data points.
  • Flexible Data Registers can be used throughout program executions.
  • Controllers can be operated via Loader/Operator panels or Host Computers.
