Opening of Mycom's VEST R&D Center

Mycom celebrates Kyoto's progressive cultural, academic and intellectual environment with the opening of its new R&D Building. The building is inspired by a philosophical calling to enhance the ever-changing technological world. Located at the Katsura campus in Katsura Innovation Park, adjacent to the progressive and dynamic Kyoto University, Mycom's newly built institution is considered a creative next-generation hub, officially named the VEST R&D Center.
   
October 10th, 2008: Mycom successfully revives the Venture Spirit with its newly developed VEST Research Center. This center will be the foundation of critical research and progressive product developments pioneered by the company's R&D team in Kyoto.

An exhibit of Mycom's popular selling Automatic Stamping Device Mark Myte 2100. Part of the opening celebration included Mycom's engineers engraving visitors' names on the straps of their suitcases and nametags.

    Multi-Purpose Research Room, Second Floor 

Display of the I/O start-type ICD200 Series: an integrated Drive/Controller, easily used alongside a Neo- Pulse Motor, Cross Bipolar Driver and high-performance Dampers.

Displays of Mycom's MECHATROLINK-Ⅱ pick & place multi-jointed robotic series. Also displayed: related motion control products and controller systems such as a line of Mycom's compact actuators, the patented NanoDrive controllers, and several electronic cam controllers. A demonstration of verifying angle-of-accuracy on a machine system was also presented live to visitors

Mycom's 40th Anniversary Celebration
